dsl part 2. =P

dsl kwento, part 2. bow. *currently on bayantel dsl. hehe*

since super-duper-mega-grrrr-inis na kami ni kuya kedo sa pldt last last week, nagapply na kme ng bayantel dsl. the messenger delivered the application form on a monday, pero wala si mama (we have an existing bayantel line na nakapangalan kay mama, aaand if we get the dsl, 300php nlng yung landline. hehe) so the application form got signed on a wednesday. messenger picked it up on a thursday, and while me, mama and kuya kedo were at the fort last sunday (feb 10 - happy birthday to gwen and lola queenie), tumawag si ate..

ate: "tumawag yung bayantel, ppnta na daw sila dito para ikabit yung dsl"
tina: "talaga?!?! weeeee!"
ate: "o e san ko ipapakabit yung dsl? yung pldt asa may bar."
tina: "sa kwarto ko nlng muna, para matest. andun yung desktop eh""
ate: "o hala sya sige. babay"
*baba ung phone*
tina: "kuyaaaaaaa ikakabit na daw yung bayantel!"
kuya kedo: "yey!"

so pagkauwi, stress test agad naman kami ni kuya kedo. ok nmn so far. pero ok lng, nakakapagwork naman na ako pagkauwi, kaya nakakaalis nko ng office ng mga 10ish. har har har.

monday morning (6:30 am)

ate: "ning, gising na"
tina: *mumbles sleepily* "oo bbangon na.. may mainit na tubig na?"
ate: "oo meron na. ayusin mo yung bayantel a, mamaya iwasiwas yan ng pamangkin mo"
tina: *rises up from the bed immediately, suddenly alert* "shet onga!"

..which was why i was 30 mins late for work that day. hehehe.

naexcite din ako kasi ibig sabihin... tandararaaaan! makakapag-work from home na ako ng week na yun! yahoooo! sobrang excited pa naman ako mag-wfh nung wednesday (wed-thu kse wfh ko), kasooooo etong si cristy kse, me ginawa nanamang kalokohan na pinahamak ako. *mumblegrumblemumble* ayan tuloy, pumasok tuloy ako ng wednesday (whole different story, not related to the dsl thing). phhhbbbttt..

come thursday (first eeeever wfh day for this year) (6:30am)...

ate: "ning, maaga ka ba?"
tina: *eyes still closed* "hindi, wfh ako. up naman dsl no? tatlong ilaw dun sa bayantel na dsl"
ate: "oo, up naman"
tina: "o yan, wfh ako." *goes back to sleep, wakes up at 8:30*

so ayun, up yung net, connect na ako sa vpn, yadda yadda.. kaso di ako makaconnect sa comm. *mumblegrumble* ok lng,naka-connect naman ako sa ym. hehehe. medyo mabagal, tpos di ako makaconnect sa p&g sites, which is weird. eh kelangan ko na tlaga magconnect sa isang site for work, tapos up ung pldt (waw, himala no?), so nilipat ko ulit yung router muna sa pldt ulet. sabi ko iffigure out ko muna yung bayantel over the weekend. kaya ayun.

after twiddling with the tcp/ip settings.. tadaaaaa! nakaconnect nko sa work-related sites ko, nakakaconnect nden ako sa comm while on vpn! yahooo!

so ayun. monitoring period muna kami. post production, ika nga sa project namin. niyukyuk. :D
