2006 in review

2006 is a truly memorable year for me. :) I met lots of new people and gained new friends, grew stronger and learned a lot thru my experiences this year. What happened in 2006, and what did i learn about myself and the ppl around me this year?

- taught my 1st cs173 class
- CURSOR won the Engineering Organization Excellence Award (EOEA) whohoooo! :P
- 1st UP-HP recruitment day (yey to us, chris & taty! :D)
- 1st ever WASM & DBA Teambuilding (hahaha. :P) this was where we discovered the wonders of TABOO. :D
- 21st birthday! thanks for making it one of my most memorable birthdays! natouch tlaga ako sa surprise nyo. :)
- G.AOCL goes to 3 provinces in 1 day! hahaha. road trip!
- 1st year in HP
- weddings galore! (jeff & christine, lou & rain, mam joyce & harvee)
- switched teams
- despedidas galore :( (joyce, steve, kuya mike, poch)
- the birth of my 1st ever pamangkin! :D
- offsites and the "memories" from the offsites *evil grin*
- ehrmmm.. shifting all you can with kristine and josie? :D
- switched managers
- .. parted ways with the DBA team
- changed locations (from RS to SMPC)
- .. wasn't able to attend ANY of the engg week night events! *sob*
- the return of batokaches and backaches
- let go of my HS batchbook responsibilities (heeheeeheee. :P)
- acbatch2001 reunion! :)
- .. discovering that my most loved teddy bear is REALLY REALLY old ( ~16 years. eeek!)
- if im on asia shift, i tend to be awake/online up to NA time (or is this because of the release? hrmmm); if im on EMEA shift, i'm awake up to 9am (tops. ehhrmm.. yeah. more or less); and if im on NA shift, i get sleepy at around 5:30am, then perk up at around 7am, and fall asleep at around 10am. but in extreeeeemmeee cases, i can push myself. heehee. :P
- ... im always online on ym. :)) heehee. :D lots of people have already noticed - from my teammates, to my blockmates, and even my HS batchmates when we met up during the reunion! =))
- im the "unofficial" AA for our team. (hrmm. i wonder why?)
- my friends aren't surprised that im always (well, most of the time) part of an organizing committee of some event (bakeeet?!?)
- ppl on EMEA shift are the workaholics. :)) [o ano jenny, aangal ka ha ha ha? kristine? josie? :D :D]
- im one of the unofficial "taga-bantay"s during offsites/parties/whenever there's beer or liquor. haha. (sabihin nyong nde!)
- team paparrazi (yeeep, i have all the pictures. if not most of them. :D).
- you'll find it hard to find an updated picture of the SM/DBA team separately! laging may SM or may DBA sa picture. kaya mahirap magsubmit ng team picture :)) diba jenny? heeheehee. the last DBA team pic was after kristine came (so jenny, joel, ako, fred, kristine, mark. kita mo, DBA pa ako! :P), and the last SM team pic was after arvil came (rose, nikki, eric, joyce, steve, mike c, rich, arvil, trixie). succeeding pictures were always "mark's team" pictures. :P
- .. i took <5 CDOs this year. (eek. grabe. i need a break!)

im sure i haven't listed down everything yet. but those were the ones that i remember. heehee :P overall, 2006 was a truly memorable year. :) thanks to everyone for being a part of it :D
