20th floor = cursor floor.
congrats to kd, cha & mshel (oo mshel, tanggapin mo na yan)! CURSOR is thriving at HP!
and why the title? *points to title*
20th floor = lou, sarah, ej, tina, rose, (and by monday) kd & mshel
..... i dont know if des is also on the 20th floor. heeeheee. she's still in germany, and will be returning this june.
until my onboarding is finished, my shift's from 2pm-11pm. which is fine by me - this is the time that i usually work, anyway. =P and i dont notice that it's already night time. at around 10 am - 1pm, our side of the floor is empty (like i said in my previous post). but by 4pm... our side's alive & kicking!
after onboarding, well.... i don't know. asia/emea shift's fine with me.
VPN! VPN! VPN! *laughs* long story.. my team mates & i were still laughing about it when we finished training earlier. teeeheee...

my brother got married last sunday (may 8). i dont have any pictures yet, i'll try to find some. hrmm... i hope kuya gets a digital copy of their pictures from the photographer..
oh, oh, did you know? the photographer used their pre nup pictures on his calling card! :)) nice. i'll also try to get a copy of their pre nup pics. there's this one sequence of shots where kuya was creeping down the stairs, carrying his shoes, and ate raquel was waiting for him. she caught him and they fight. =P i liked that one. hrmm. i'd better find a digital copy, fast! =P
i saw a lot of familiar faces at the wedding, not counting our friends and relatives. maybe it's because i visit ateneo so often just to nag him. heehee. several of his students, DISCS/Math faculty members, and HP colleagues were at the wedding. 2 of his groomsmen are his former students (sabi nina kuya, anhirap ko daw hanapan ng partner kse ang tangkad ko daw. teeeheee.), one of their ninongs is one of the big guys at HP, and one of their ninangs is the director for marketing for the westin group of hotels (exteeeeeee!)! huwaw. and one of kuya's former students turned co-faculty turned HP employee who taught one of the topics in CS173 (proj mgmnt) remembered me, and asked when i started, which team i'm in, and told me at the reception that he thought that i was going to be the new addition to their team - it turned out to be one of my blockmates.
after the wedding, we had the pictorials. when the time came for "bong's family and relatives" to have their picture taken, we all laughed because almost half the guests in the church stood up! *LOL* so funny.
the food was great! yumyumyum. i should know - i was present at the food tasting. =P
after the reception, that was the time it hit me - kuya's really married. i wont see him in the house that often anymore. but before leaving, he stuffed an envelope full of letters for us. he asked me to give it to everyone. i read my as soon as i got home. it made me miss my adorable kuya even more. *sniff*
but come to think of it, i didn't lose my brother - i gained a sister instead. =)

i claimed my grad pics earlier. and as i passed through up, i felt right at home. it's like a sanctuary. you'll always feel welcome when you're in up -and most especially, in Engg.
i felt the hubhub of activity in Engg - the respective departments were preparing for the freshmen registration, while other students were taking summer subjects. i didn't have the time to pass by the department, since im going to be late for work. but when i pass by again to get mike's pictures, i'll drop by the dept. hrmm... maybe later. reg for the CS freshmen is today.

i miss the tambayan.
i miss CURSOR.
i miss the people.
i miss the department.
i miss Engg.
i miss UP.
