of releases and things to come..

a lot's happened since my last post. i was soooo tired and stressed out these past few months. and it looks like its going to be this way until december. seriously, i gotta get a life. or at least some rest. hehehe.

cge nga, san ka ba nakakita ng release na may 100+ tickets?! gawd, so many! at sino lang nagvverify at replicate nung mga yun ha ha ha? at iisa lang ang dev ngayon ha! grrr.

.. tapos nakakainis, sasabihin na hindi na itutuloy yung release, tapos a few days after... grrr tlaga!
just to keep up with ALL of those tickets (that's on top of my DM duties), i had to pull 2 1/2 shifts everyday. meaning, i go home everyday at 1 (ASIA ako ng lagay na to ha!), login at home, check some more tickets, sleep at 3:30 or 4 or 4:30 (ooh yeah), wake up at 5:30 (another miracle) and go to work at 8 or 9.

.. which led to to the sermons i get every satruday and sunday from my mom

.. and to the cough and colds that i have now

.. and the huuugge eyebags

.. and the cranky disposition almost everyday

.. and me nodding off to sleep almost every time i ride the shuttle home

*sigh*

if it were not for kristine, josie, nathan and rockie keeping me sane.. hehe. thanks! :P kahit sinisermonan nyo na ako dahil late ako lagi umuuwi, dahil nagkakasakit na ako, dahil nde na ako kumakain, dahil nde na ako nakaattend ng last day ng training ko ng java, dahil lagi kaming naggglobal shift ni josie, dahil sobra na (as in sobraaa! kapalmuks.. taking all the credit for our hard work..) ang ginagawa ng ibang mga tao jan... slamat pren sa concern, paggising sa akin pagdating sa bahay, paghatak (at magantay!) para kumain, sa pagcover ng queue pag kelangan ko na talagang mag-verify ng tickets, and for simply being there. :D

1 week na lang akong ganito. hopefully. naway makauwi na ako everyday ng after dinner. after all, ASIA shift ako. :P sa november nlng ulit, pag 4.0 na.

wala na rin pala kami sa 20th floor, asa 34th floor na kami. call it a prelude to what's going to happen in november. :(

we're no longer going to be part of AMG. the whole team's not under the same "tower" anymore. Heck, the whole team's going to be split up into 3! *sob* the DBAs will be merging with pia's team (BI/DW), and the SM team will be split up into 2 - WOM & CSP (C&CS), and TOPAS & STAR (SNS). *sob* so sad.. and not only that, we're going to be in different buildings! the DBAs will stay in RS, while the SM team will move to SMPC. gloomy gloomy ortigas. :(

.. mamimiss ko yung team. as in yung lahat kami magkakasama. na pwede mo lang kalabitin ung mga DBA para magpareset ng password (shempre magoopen din naman ng ticket after!).. tapos pag friday, pagsapit ng 12, eh nagkkwentuhan at nagkukulitan nlng lahat.. yung mga long dinner outs na magkakasama ang SM at DBA. *sob* maybe its because i've been part of those two teams (DBA for the first year, SM the next), and my closest friends (HP kada. :P) are split evenly across the DBA & SM teams.

.. namimiss ko na nang maging part ng DBA team. namimiss ko na na si jenny yung team lead ko, pati yung pagpupuyat namin ni kristine sa DR replication ng CSP at TOPAS, at oo, kahit yung mga 971, 972, at cisor tickets. wala nren magbabantay ke ate jenny anne at ke kristine pag naka-inom sila. :P kita nyo naman yung nangyari nung offsite nila with BI/DW. mwehehehehe. ano na kaya ginagawa ko ngayon sa DBA kung nde ako pinahiram sa SM? hrmm.. pero, on the other hand, ok naman ako sa SM. namimiss ko lng talaga ang DBA. :(

.. bakit ba kasi pati ung SM issplit pa according to service lines? yayiieeeee.. :(

.. tapos halos sunod2 yung mga pagreresign ng mga tao. parang for the past quarter, 4 na agad nagresign! at shempre yung mga kaclose ko pa. si steve (bossing!!! huhuhu. bat mo ko iniwaaaann??), si joyce (joooycceee! la nang magtatanong sken kung anong shift ko.. :( ), si kuya mike (pwede ka pa naman mag-ocular ulet diba? :P), at si poch (bfast buddy!)
