long overdue post engg week post =)

ANG ENGG WEEK 2005. BAW.

This is my 1st engg week as an alumni, and i think this is the most emotional one for the org. during the last dinner before gino, chubbs, jessie & cha transfer to Ortigas, we gave our engg week contributions to gino so that he can give it to mon. Every one of us know how hard it is to find money for Engg Week events. And being the die-hards that we are, we don't want to see our org suffering. :)

And speaking of engg week, i took my CDO (Compensatory Day Off) on Dec 12, 14 & 15 to be able to watch, of course, Awitan, Indakan and Ms Engg! Why? We'll, I'm on night shift (4pm - 1am) so if i don't use up my CDO, i wont be able to watch the night events (nooooohhhhh!!!)

Torya was here for the weekend (well, actually up to Wednesday, kasi nanood pa sha ng Indakan). She's currently training in Thailand for her job. Although i think her training is only up to this month na lang. We had an execom pic after awitan (dec 12):


but aydz was not in the picture - he was practicing for Indakan. So we had another one after indakan:

CONGRATS for getting 1st place in Awitan and Indakan pairs! Pati pala matress stuffengg. Go hobbits! (hehehe)

It must be the flag(s). After the choice piece (the theme for this year was broadway, and CURSOR sang "Do you hear the people sing" from Les Miserables), carlos (who was the "lead" character) was waving the red flag, with Gino waving the Cursor flag in the audience. hehehehe. When CURSOR was announced as the first place winners, Gino waved the cursor flag proudly. (actually, our batch project which they attached to a stick). At sinong me sabing walang silbi yung batch project namin, ha?!?! =)

Also, CONGRATS for placing 3rd (EWOC)! IEC, KEM and CIEM placed 1st, 2nd and 4th respectively. Congrats also to all the organizations!

This engg week, we saw that the members are now "die-hards". They have the heart. With that CURSOR will go far. Nakakatuwa. :)

After Ms. Engg & the announcement of the EWOC placers, everyone went to Something Fishy at Eastwood to avail (hrmm... more like EXPLOIT, TAKE ADVANTAGE.. =P) of the 12mn-8am breakfast buffet for only 80 pesos! And i have to say, sulit sha. =) The scrambled eggs are sooooo yummy! hehehe. We had one whole room to ourselves. and some of the alumni (alan, sars, kd) were watching the MTV that my bit starred in (halloooo bit!), and won first place in one of the events during engg week & the Indakan group video. I'll post the yousendit links for all the videos (tweety, borrow ng link! hehehe)

Im so proud of you CURSOR! Galingan nyo next year! :)
